- I do not support this because it is an offensive and historical term and not a neutral synonym. It differs significantly in connotation and usage. NicoR8 (talk) 18:04, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

Merge completed
It took awhile, but I've now merged Half-breed and Mixed-blood into this article. Those two articles probably could have been more easily merged into one, shorter article about North Americans of Indigenous and European descent, but hopefully this article also works as an uber-article. There's no reason "Mixed-blood" couldn't be spun off again later if it grows large enough to demand it. Lewisguile (talk) 20:14, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
