Feedback from New Page Review process
I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for starting this page for a new major piece of UK infrastructure. It would be great to have it linked from elsewhere. When creating pages, its helpful to have references spanning a range of time periods, in order to demonstrate sustained coverage. Adding categories also helps.
Inaccuracies in article
| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
- Specific text to be added or removed: "It was built through a collaboration between RAL (Rutherford Appleton Lab) Space and the National Physical Laboratory"
- Reason for the change: This is incorrect. The facility was funded by UK government as a result of a facilities gap study led by UK Space Agency, and is operated solely by RAL Space (a department of the Science and Technology Facilities Council. NPL are not involved. The original editor has got this confused with the Small Satellite Calibration Facility, which they have used as a reference.

- Fixed. LivinAWestLife (talk) 13:04, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry - another two inaccuracies: "it is the first dedicated satellite testing facility in the UK". This is also incorrect as RAL Space has existing environmental test facilities. The first customer was Airbus Defence and Space in the UK. Currently it lists Airbus Defence and Space UK as two separate customers. SpaceWeathered (talk) 08:43, 4 February 2026 (UTC)

- Alright, just tell me what the text should say instead and I'll copy it towards the page. LivinAWestLife (talk) 09:54, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- I'd suggest something like:
- "It is the UK's first comprehensive facility for testing large-scale satellites. The first customer was Airbus Defence and Space in the UK."
