Replace organization with "Public Benefit Corporation"?

OpenAI announced that it has complete its refinancialization with the "for profit" part of the organization being a "Public Benefit Corporation" Ref:https://openai.com/our-structure/ 2A01:73C0:856:BD10:0:0:BFB:9A01 (talk) 17:42, 29 October 2025 (UTC)

Wrongful-death lawsuit over ChatGPT safety (2025)

There have been many since incidents since then, it should be updated to represent there being multiple wrongful death lawsuits, not just Raine. ~2025-32195-85 (talk) 03:11, 9 November 2025 (UTC)

Do you have sources for the other lawsuits? There are lots of documented suicides covered on Deaths linked to chatbots but only 1 mentions a lawsuit involving OpenAI. Jamedeus (talk) 03:39, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
I have updated the lawsuits section on this page + added the lawsuits to respective sections in Deaths linked to chatbots. Thanks for flagging that the latter page also needed updating. EsotericT (talk) 20:28, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
We might have to reformat the paragraph a little. I added Deaths linked to chatbots to main article link. Though, it seem a little odd. So was thinking of reformatting the section into two. Or maybe just keep only a single link to Deaths linked to chatbots? Anothercat613 (talk) 18:25, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

Weasly intro

Throughout 2024, roughly half of then-employed AI safety researchers left OpenAI, citing the company's prominent role in an industry-wide problem.

Nah, they were citing the company's lowered focus or gagging on AGI safety. The vague "role in an industry-wide problem" reads like preemptive apologia.-- ze un fo un 21:39, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

The phrase "citing the company's prominent role in an industry-wide problem" is indeed needlessly wordy and could be made clearer. Alenoach (talk) 01:11, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
