Infobox "Result"
Please note that Template:Infobox military conflict#Parameters states against "result" that "this parameter may use one of two standard terms: "X victory" or "Inconclusive"." The infobox has been amended to reflect this. Please read the template "result" guidance in full before amending or reverting. It would probably be best to discuss any proposed change here first to seek consensus. Thanks. Gog the Mild (talk) 20:21, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
Short description confusion
Why is the short description for this article set to none? It is my understanding that this option is only to be used for articles whose titles are so blitheringly precise that a short description would be redundant. For example, Venues of the 1972 Winter Olympics, whose contents are easily surmised from the title. Operation Enduring Freedom doesn't seem to be that. 1brianm7 (talk) 00:02, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Short descriptions are functionally speaking, a template. If a short description is never defined, or if it is defined and then later removed, it gets set to "none". In this case, looks like it was just vandalized, here and nobody fixed it. I cleaned it back up. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 03:40, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
