- Not a full review at the moment, but I do not see how a hook like ALT0 linking this person to a convicted sex offender is going to pass WP:DYKBLP. The source doesn't say millions of people thought he was Epstein; it says a viral social media post was viewed millions of times. As for ALT1, this campaign (which the source says hasn't even been filed) is clearly a joke, with other "campaign promises" including
We will build our own pipeline to import NYC water
andprovid[ing] all residents of Palm Beach a free convertible vehicle for 12 months to "experience the top down in the Palm Beach breeze."
"Did you know a social media personality said some nonsense as part of a gag?" isn't really a hook. I'd suggest coming up with some alternatives. Dclemens1971 (talk) 12:35, 30 May 2026 (UTC)- While it does seem absurd, there's nothing to indicate that it is a gag at present. Anyway, seems relatively tame as far as American politics goes... my reasoning for ALT0 is that looking like Epstein is his call to fame (he's cultivated an entire following around this). Anyway I added ALT2 which says "mistook" to clarify that he is NOT Epstein, and also ALT3. jolielover♥talk 05:10, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
Full review: new enough, long enough, solid/decent sources, neutral and BLP-compliant (article-wise), copyvio free as far as I can tell. Except for ALT1, hooks are all very interesting but for DYKBLP and DYKHOOKCITE reasons discussed above I'm not approving ALT0. (I'm not approving ALT1 for the DYKINT reason I flagged above) and ALT1. ALT2 has a similar problem to ALT0; I just don't think a hook linking this guy to Epstein (and indeed, he created a social media handle called "not.epstein", which is ambiguous to me about how much he wants to promote the resemblance) is going to fly with DYKBLP. Just trying to prevent an unpleasant experience for everyone at ERRORS here. That leaves ALT3, which is good but is sourced solely to himself (He said his following is mostly Gen Zers.
) Is there a better way to frame this? The article attributes it correctly, but the hook phrases it in wikivoice. How does this work? ALT3a: ... that a Florida man in his 70s claims an internet following of Gen Zers? If you'd like me to look at any new ALTs, let me know. Dclemens1971 (talk) 01:30, 1 June 2026 (UTC)- Sure, I don't mind @Dclemens1971: jolielover♥talk 04:02, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
Putting the tick on for ALT3a. If another reviewer doesn't see the DYKBLP risks I see with the Epstein hooks, they can feel free to add additional approvals. Dclemens1971 (talk) 11:36, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

Image request
A freely licensed image of Palm Beach Pete would be useful here. His notability is due to his resemblance to Jeffrey Epstein, so an image could help readers understand the article’s context.
I had trouble finding an image that was free to be used, so ensure any image is neutral, properly licensed, and compliant with BLP and image-use policies.

- I agree. jolielover♥talk 01:30, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- Absolutely. Having the only image in the article be the actual Jeffery Epstein and not the reputed Jeffrey Epstein look-alike that the article is about is not ideal. Though I don't know whether a freely licensed image is available. — Red XIV (talk) 13:16, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

Change birthday to February 14th, 1955. (I am his nephew)
Please use a proper photo of Pete, not a photo of Epstein. Petersimel (talk) 22:25, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
Partly done: I have removed the picture of Epstein; however, there is currently not a free image of Pete available, although one would be much appreciated. As you are his nephew, do you have an image which you have taken of him that you can upload? Or can you take one of him? Please note that you and only you must have taken a photo of him for upload to commons; please see Wikipedia:Copyright and c:Commons:Licensing for more information. You can upload images on the upload wizard, here. jolielover♥talk 02:57, 11 June 2026 (UTC)- Can you prove source about his date of birth? Wikipedia doesn't allow put the exact date just because it was stated, you need reliable sources.. ~2026-36187-29 (talk) 19:44, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
