I assume that the issue here is notability?

I am going to see if I can find a reference to it from the online portion of a print media news outlet.

Two have been added to the article.

It has been linked to by various web news sources. I can list them.

It is only the biggest political website in Ireland, one one which politicians admit to posting! FearÉIREANN\(caint) 19:30, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Works for me

I am satisfied with the references that you added and I will respectfully withdraw the speedy delete nomination. Ecoleetage (talk) 20:06, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Is David Cochrane still involved with Libertas? I thought he had stood down and changed his views on the Lisbon Treaty. 84.203.36.202 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 20:08, 2 September 2009 (UTC).

Offline again?

According to isitdownrightnow.com the site is down and the graph seems to indicate 3 July 2025 as the last date it was up. Following the link from the article gives a message "Page could not be loaded". Using a ping command results in an an error like "ping: www.politics.ie: Name or service not known" or "ping: politics.ie: Name or service not known". Is this sufficient to put the article in past tense? Autarch (talk) 20:06, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

The domain expired on 15 July 2025 and is in redemption period so not quite defunct but looks like just a matter of time. Lozleader (talk) 10:15, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
Thanks! Probably best to wait until it expires, then. Autarch (talk) 03:53, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
It's for sale now. Lozleader (talk) 19:59, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
