QPQ is done. Article is new enough, long enough, and within policy. No copyright violations found; although most of the materials are offline so trusting in good faith that the sources have not been plagiarized or misrepresented. The only issue I have is with the hook fact which does not match the quoted text. Specifically the use of the word "throughout" is problematic. The quoted source states "appeared in numerous southern cookbooks in the late nineteenth century". This statement is only making a general claim about the number of cookbooks from the American South that included the recipe. In contrast, the hook fact is making a claim about geographic space not found in the source. The book didn't say where in the American South these cookbooks were published, or make a claim as to how far wide spread through the American South these cookbooks were. It also doesn't make an assertion about the proportion of the cookbooks in the American South that contained the recipe, only that numerous cookbooks published in the American South (without specifying where exactly or how far spread) included the recipe (but without giving a percentage or claim of proportion in relation to all cookbooks in the American South). For this reason, the hook (and the article's text) needs to be changed to more carefully match the claim in the cited reference.4meter4 (talk) 23:52, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
