Publications which could possibly be added

There are some publications that challenge the prevalent view that saturated fat is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and stroke and I would like to bring them up here.

Can these be considered reliable? Mondtaler (talk) 20:33, 30 October 2025 (UTC)

They are not reliable and are outdated. We have already had back and forth at these studies for years on this talk-page. Check the archives. Very briefly the Ronald M. Krauss 2010 meta-analysis was flawed because it contained a major overadjustment for serum cholesterol concentrations. Frank B Hu who co-wrote the meta-analysis later denounced it. Jeremiah Stamler also took issue with their methodology. There's no point in going into depth on this because we wouldn't need to cite a dodgy 2010 meta-analysis when we have much more recent reliable sources.
