Use in other than criminology
Gosh, self-report studies are used for all kinds of research other than criminology. The relative validity of research absed on self-report vs. research based on observed behavior is a pretty central debate in all sociology and psych! DanB DanD 22:14, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I must say, this entry is not encyclopedia-worthy. It is a little like if the Wiki entry on pencils said "pencils are used extensively in writing French homework." True... but a deceptively limited perception. Self-report data is used extensively in all of the social sciences. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.173.6.74 (talk) 19:31, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have assessed this article as being outside the scope of WikiProject Law Enforcement, which even excludes the study of crime and added WikiProject Sociology and WikiProject Statistics instead, as being more relevant. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 21:54, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
blinding
