Webb identification

"His history and the autopsy findings suggest he died by suicide by poisoning himself."

This seems to conflate Webb's psychological problems and the autopsy of the Somerton Man as if they both were the same. I understand what was meant was "Webb's history suggests he might one day kill himself, which would be in agreement with a possible suicide of the SM, according to his autopsy."

But even that seems to be quite a lot of speculation, doesn't it? AIUI neither Webb nor the SM have been proven to have eommited suicide? --Syzygy (talk) 11:52, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
