Telegram Open NetworkThe Open NetworkThe Open Network – Native TON community doesn't refer to TON as Telegram Open Network and existing name of the article sometimes causes confusion in the conversations. TON is listed at different exchanges and as of 12:58, 9 May 2023 [] on the 28th place by Coinmarketcap under the name of "The Open Network" Mylongusername (talk) 12:59, 9 May 2023 (UTC)  Relisting. Diverging Diamond To the left! I would like to reiterate my request for the move of the 'Telegram Open Network' (TON) article to 'The Open Network'. I initially requested this move based on feedback from the native TON community and the current listing of the network on various exchanges. As I mentioned previously, as of 12:04, 17 May 2023, TON is listed on the 26th place 1 by Coinmarketcap and on the Toncoin token page [2] blockchain is referred to under the name of "The Open Network".
The current title can cause confusion as the TON community doesn't refer to TON as Telegram Open Network. It is important that Wikipedia reflects the most current and accurate information, and in this case, that would mean changing the name of the article to align with the widely accepted name within the community and on financial exchanges.
I understand that page moves require consensus, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have this discussion. I kindly urge those who have not yet participated in the discussion to please provide your thoughts and perspectives. This decision will greatly affect the accuracy and usability of the article, and your input is highly valued. Mylongusername (talk) 12:06, 17 May 2023 (UTC)

Add more information about Everscale

suggest adding more information about the Everscale concept (as a continuation of the idea of Pavel Durov under a different look), which includes DeNS, Drivechain, Ever SSI, SMFT protocol, and REMP technology.

I also suggest mentioning the investment by Venom Foundation in Everscale, as it signifies ongoing development. Kraken Dead (talk) 22:09, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

Concerns regarding promotional tone and sourcing in Tonstakers section

Hi everyone,

I'd like to raise a few concerns about the current "Tonstakers" section in the article. While it's important to document notable projects within the TON ecosystem, this section may currently violate several Wikipedia content guidelines:

1. Promotional language: The section includes terms such as "leading protocol", "trusted validators", and "key features", which appear to reflect marketing language rather than a neutral, encyclopedic tone (see WP:PROMO and WP:NPOV).

2. Lack of independent sources: Most of the citations currently used are primary sources — the project's website, FAQ, and social media — without support from independent, reliable secondary sources (see WP:RS and WP:SELFSOURCE). This raises verifiability concerns.

3. Undue weight: The Tonstakers section is significantly longer and more detailed than coverage of other liquid staking protocols or DeFi integrations on TON. This may create an imbalance in tone or perceived notability (see WP:UNDUE).

I’d like to suggest: - Rewriting the section with a more neutral tone - Trimming or removing promotional claims that cannot be verified by independent sources - Ensuring coverage is proportionate to the subject’s weight within the broader context of the article

Looking forward to hearing thoughts or alternative proposals from others in the community. Open to helping rewrite the section collaboratively if there's agreement.

Thanks! -- David Fish (talk) 13:21, 23 July 2025 (UTC)

Hi. FYI: Tonstakers section has been removed; Belle Femme Emmo (talk) 08:55, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Blatant promotion

Look at the mention of people: Anatoliy Makosov and Kirill Emelyanenko on article text. Looks not eligible according to wiki policies. Trumpcoiner (talk) 09:48, 1 October 2025 (UTC)

Removed Ston.Fi Paragraph

It was like if on Solana (blockchain platform) whole paragraph about some crookie DEX based on that blockchain. Belle Femme Emmo (talk) 12:28, 4 January 2026 (UTC)

{coi|September 2024|date=August 2025} possible resolve

Since I removed Everscale, STON.Fi, TG Premium, TG Ads, Makosov and other non-sourced content (WP:SYNTH) I have likely managed to clean up COI content that was added by people clearly associated with Telegram. Belle Femme Emmo (talk) 09:05, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

The topic is interesting, but previous editors probably got confused coz of the confusion with Gram. I could try rewriting it in a draft if that's okay. Belle Femme Emmo (talk) 09:08, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
