Error with module
This is not a small issue. Please fix this. NotJamestack (✉️|📝) 16:32, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- This issue has been going on for months now. I'd fix it myself if I knew how to. I can't underline enough how important this map is. Odiseo79 (talk) 04:56, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- I assume you're talking about "Lua error in Module:Location_map/sandbox at line 559: table from mw.loadData is read-only" which comes up at Template:Russo-Ukrainian war detailed map. Pinging User:Alexiscoutinho in case they can help. I'm wondering whether it is related to changes they made to the template in April/May 2024. Regardless, they may have the skills to fix it. - No reply from Alexis so, despite having no idea how it all works, I have ventured where angels fear to tread. Has it helped with the problem you're talking about, User:NotJamestack and User:Odiseo79? Nurg (talk) 08:40, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- I can see the map now. NotJamestack (✉️|📝) 12:41, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply. I see you reverted the template back to the 'stable' "Location map" version, which is indeed the simplest patch. Thanks. An issue/error was bound to happen with the map using a sandbox module like that... I believe, back then, I was trying to improve the visualization/elegance/organization of the map through the underlying "Location map" module, but I never fully finished or at least never made an edit request to incorporate my changes into the main module. Ideally, I (or a volunteer maybe) should finish what I had started, but I can't guarantee anything unfortunately. Alexis Coutinho (talk) 00:00, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you so much @Alexiscoutinho and @Nurg. I can see the map now. You guys are awesome. Odiseo79 (talk) 04:59, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

A lot of settlements are not included. No single locality in the Bachivsk direction (except for Sopych)) are simply not shown. Andriivka is under Russian control again. It doesnt mention the advances of the RUAF in Hrabovske, Myropilske, Taratutyne etc.). Mala Korchakovka is also under Russian control. I would like to change that and update everything. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1V8NzjQkzMOhpuLhkktbiKgodOQ27X6IV&ll=49.03549991826228%2C37.50538781932571&z=8 https://militarysummary.com/map https://deepstatemap.live/#10/50.8172154/35.3018188 ~2026-25406-57 (talk) 09:23, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. You need to use a "change x to y" format to show exactly what you want to change. Day Creature (talk) 18:47, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
