Recent history
Hi. I'm the current chairman of The Yale Record, and wanted to thank OldOwl1872 for his or her tireless efforts. I also wanted to note a few small changes to the section on The Record's recent history, drawn from conversations and the writings of Michael Gerber, who restarted it. He wrote his senior thesis on The Record's history and relaunch and has since studied it even more. I'll be uploading and hyperlinking to his history as soon as I can. Oldest humor magazine in the world?
This article claims that The yale record is the oldest humor magazine in the world. The humor magazine Blandaren claims they were the first. Blandaren released in 1863 and The yale record in 1872. Both still exist today. Victor Ture (talk) 11:16, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
- I have now changed this as List of humor magazines also list Blandaren as the first. Victor Ture (talk) 21:04, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
