To go through the NACADEMIC checklist, I believe that Tim Kraska is notable based on criteria numbers 1, 2, and 3.
- 1) He developed Learned Indexes, which are now being used by Google BigTable and has been integrated into RocksDB, which is used on major websites such as Facebook, Linkedin, and Yahoo!. Admittedly, I don't know exactly how much a person needs to change their particular field (the Criterion metrics didn't really give an exact number), but I would say this should count as changing the field, based on section 1b) of the specific criteria notes. The research article published about it has been cited nearly 400 times. That should be some level of indication of importance. If I am wrong, please correct me.
- 2) He has won the National Science Foundation CAREER Award. Seeing as the National Science Foundation is an American national institute by the United States government, I believe that counts.
- 3) He has a Sloan Research Fellowship and a Swiss National Science Foundation fellowship. Both of those are notable.
I am submitting the subject for their notability on these three criteria. Please feel free to guide this article as necessary. ~Junedude433(talk) 01:40, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
