• Cited: - Not sure; per WP:DYKCITE can you provide a quote from the offline source that validates ALT1?
• Interesting: - Both hooks need additional work. ALT0 merely recites a fact that requires readers to be familiar with the Maugham Award or with Johnson's work to be interesting; otherwise, it's a simple recitation of the fact that a particular book won a particular award. ALT1 is more interesting but based on the article text it appears that Johnson did view Trawl as an autobiography, just in the form of a novel. I would suggest reworking this to heighten the interest and align with the presentation in the article.

• ISD No need to add it to the source; the practice is to add a quotation from the offline source within the DYK nomination discussion that validates the hook fact. The source remains offline for me; in my jurisdiction at least the Google Books link provides only tiny snippets and I'm unable to view the page you reference.
