Maps?
Similar projects in other cities?
Milwaukee also built a deep tunnel stormwater reservoir system, modeled after Chicago's, with similar success. What other cities have done this type of project? 173.28.115.32 (talk) 03:25, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
Why is the project taking so many years?
In the 19th century, men with picks and shovels would have completed the project in far less time than this project is taking with modern technology. Why is this project taking so many years to complete? There is no explanation in the article. 2A02:C7C:E1BA:CE00:4834:4BF5:CDC8:72AC (talk) 14:15, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
- Because it's a much more massive undertaking than you are giving it credit for? Because labor is far more expensive than it was over a century ago? Because of environmental regulations that didn't exist then? Because you build these massive public works as you get the money? Is this a serious question? It's not explained because it's obvious.
