Citation Needed: Not put into production
According to the Armory Museum, The following hardware was delivered to the Army (Springfield Armory): two XM18's, two XM133's, and three XM134's. This suggests that at least a few of these guns were produced, though whether or not that would count as being "put into production" is another matter. This seems to have been during the development phase, and there is mention in the article that there were difficulties operating the gun properly, so it could be that it was later discontinued.
I'm not an expert in this field though, so I'd rather not try and interpret this source myself, as it is rather jargon stuffed.
