Tang Chunfeng (Chinese: 唐淳风; born 1953) is a Chinese diplomat and researcher affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.[2][3] He also served as the Economic Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Japan from 1999 to 2002.[1][4] He is recognized for his active support of the Ryukyu independence movement, advocating for the autonomy of the Ryukyu Islands, particularly Okinawa, from Japan,[5] and has contributed to various public discussions on the historical and political relationship between the Ryukyu Islands and China.
