Telamonia festiva is a species of jumping spider in the family Salticidae. It is widely distributed across South and Southeast Asia, from India to the Philippines.[1][2]
The species was first described by Swedish arachnologist Tamerlan Thorell in 1887 based on a female specimen collected in Bhamo, Myanmar.[3] Over time, several other species were described that were later determined to be synonymous with T. festiva. The most recent synonymization was that of Telamonia shepardi Barrion, Barrion-Dupo & Heong, 2013, which was synonymized by Lin and colleagues in 2023.[4]
