Tendu Kheda is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Damoh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. [1] It is also a Tehsil Headquarter.

Government

Tendukheda is part of Jabera Assembly Constituency. Dharmendra Singh Lodhi is elected mla from here in 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. It is a tehsil headquarter and a administrative Division in damoh district. [3]

Description

Tendukhed is about 50 km from Damoh district. A Jain temple is currently being constructed in Tendukhed, which is the first temple in Madhya Pradesh to be built with white stone.[4] The rest house here was built during the British period and still looks very beautiful due to good maintenance. It is told by elderly people that rock paintings of 500 to 1000 years ago have also been found in Bankagarh. [5]
