The Tennessee House of Representatives 30th district is one of 99 legislative districts in the Tennessee House of Representatives. The district represents southeast Hamilton County. It includes the city of East Ridge, portions of Chattanooga as well as Ridgeside. It extends east to East Brainerd and Apison.[1] It has been represented by Esther Helton-Haynes since 2010.[2][3] The district is considered slightly competitive.[4][5] In 2024, Donald Trump won the district by 15.6%[6]

History
The 88th Tennessee General Assembly was the first in which districts were numbered; prior, Hamilton County had a set of numbered districts. At this time, the district was made of parts of Hamilton and Meigs counties.[9] Since the 89th GA, it has been part of Hamilton County.[10]
