Tetragnatha jaculator is a species of spider in the family Tetragnathidae.[2] It has a wide distribution across Africa, Asia, and has been introduced to the Americas, and is commonly known as Jaculator long-jawed spider.[3]
Tetragnatha jaculator occurs from Africa to China, India, and New Guinea, and has been introduced to the Caribbean and South America.[2]
In Africa, it is known from Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Namibia, Uganda, Malawi, and South Africa.[3]
Within South Africa, the species has been recorded from four provinces.[3]
