The Alley is a chain of bubble tea shops. The business was started by Taiwanese graphic designer Mao-ting Chiu in 2015.[1] As of 2024, there are approximately 450 locations in 18 countries.[2]
The company's logo depicts a deer.
Asia
The Alley is based in Taiwan. Elsewhere in Asia, the business has also operated in Japan,[3] Malaysia,[4] Singapore,[5] South Korea,[6] and Thailand.[7] There have been locations in Manila, Philippines.[8] The Alley was among the three most popular bubble tea brands in China in 2019.[9]

In Europe, The Alley has operated in France,[10] as well as London, United Kingdom.[11]
North America
In Canada, the business has operated in Calgary,[12] Edmonton,[13] Mississauga,[14] Montreal,[15][16] Toronto,[17] and Vancouver.[18][19]
