The Deaf Heart

The Deaf Heart is a 1958 British television play directed by Philip Saville. It was an episode of Armchair Theatre.[1]
It was Janet Munro's first British role after being signed by Walt Disney. She took sign language lessons.[2] The National Institute for the Deaf assisted with the production.[3]
The play, by American writer Mayo Simon, was filmed for American TV in 1957 directed by Sidney Lumet[4] and later adapted into a 1972 episode of Young Dr Kildare.[5]
