The Enchanted Cat was a Hungarian folklore tale translated and edited from Hungarian in 1895 by Baroness Orczy, best known for authoring the Scarlet Pimpernel series.[1] The book was illustrated by her husband, Montagu Barstow, whom she married in 1894.[2]
