The Neilson Nutshell

The Neilson Nutshell is a venue within heritage-listed Walsh Bay Arts Precinct that is owned by Bell Shakespeare. This is Bell Shakespeare’s main studio and theatre space for both rehearsal and productions.[1] It can be transformed into an event space for a private or corporate functions.[2]

It is named after a quote from Shakespeare’s play Hamlet where the title character states “O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space.” [2]
