The Solarnauts is a 1967 British television drama that was the pilot for a television series that did not eventuate.[1][2] In August 1966 it was announced Edd Byrnes was being sought for the lead role.[3] Filming started 21 November 1966 at Elstree Studios of ABC.[4] It starred David "John" Garfield, son of actor John Garfield, Derek Fowlds, John Ringham and Martine Beswick.

Premise
Power and Tempo are members of the interstellar Solarnauts who defend the Earth from alien invasions, taking orders from Tri-S. The Solarnauts fight an evil organisation headed by Logik, who is threatening to unleash a poison attack on Mars unless he can secure mining rights. Power and Tempo team up with Kandia to attack Logik’s base.
