The Stripper is a 1961 Australian novel by Carter Brown which was adapted into a musical.[1][2]
The plot involves Al Wheeler called to a hotel where a young woman, Patty Keller is on the ledge of the fifteenth floor. She decides to come in but then collapses and falls to her death.
The Age said it "was as good as most yarns of this kind originating overseas."[3]
