Production

The Suspicious Death of a Minor was developed under the title Milano Violenta (transl.Violent Milan), a title later used for Mario Caiano's film Bloody Payroll.[5] The film was a hybrid of a crime film and a giallo.[5] The screenwriter, Ernesto Gastaldi, later spoke about the film stating "In my opinion, it's a minor film [...] the usually very good Martino didn't manage to give the film a decisive shot-in-the-arm."[5]

Release

The Suspicious Death of a Minor was distributed theatrically by Titanus in Italy on 12 August 1975.[1] The film grossed a total of 507,396,250 Italian lire on its domestic release.[1]
