The Tamer (French: Le dompteur) is a 1938 French comedy film directed by Pierre Colombier and starring Saturnin Fabre, Jean-Pierre Kérien and Monique Rolland.[1][2] The film's sets were designed by the art director Jacques Colombier.

Synopsis
Raphaël inherits a travelling circus, on the condition that he take part in a show. He is terrified of wild animals, which leads to a plan to present him as the lion tamer using fake animals.
