Thiania inermis is a species of jumping spider in the genus Thiania, family Salticidae. It was originally described from specimens collected in Hong Kong.[1]
The species was first described in 1897 by Ferdinand Karsch as Marptusa inermis based on a single male specimen from Hong Kong.[2] It was later transferred to the genus Thiania by Jerzy Prószyński in 1983 after examination of the type specimen.[3]
The holotype is deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum in Budapest, Hungary.[3]
