Thomas Horn (actor)

Thomas Horn (born 1997 or 1998)[1][2][3] is an American actor.[4] He played Oskar Schell in the 2011 film Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.[5][6][7][8] Horn won a Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Actor for his performance.[9][10] He also played Jimmy Hawkins in Space Warriors. a 2013 television movie.[11][12][13][14]

Horn was cast in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close after film producer Scott Rudin discovered him on Jeopardy!, where Horn was a contestant.[15] He was to appear opposite Kris Kristofferson in a film titled Joe's Mountain.[16][17][18]

Horn is from Oakland, California.[19] He was born to Erich Horn, an ophthalmic surgeon[20] and Biljana Horn,[21] a pediatric oncologist.[22] He is of Croatian descent on his mother's side.[23]
