Thomas Shelton (translator)

Thomas Shelton (fl. 1604–1620) was a translator of Don Quixote from Spanish into English. Shelton's translation of the first part of the novel was published in London in 1612. It was the first translation of Don Quixote into any language. Shelton published his complete translation of the novel in 1620.
