Tiphys

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Greek mythology, Tiphys (/ˈtfɪs/; Ancient Greek: Τῖφυς Tîphus) was the helmsman of the Argonauts.[1]

Tiphys was the Thespian son of Hagnias[2] or of Phorbas of Elis and Hyrmine, daughter of Epeius.[3] In the latter account, he was possibly the brother of Augeas[4] and Actor.[5]
