Major-General Thomas Anthony Richardson CB MBE (9 August 1922 – 26 March 2015) was a British Army officer who took part in the Normandy landings in June 1944, the liberation of Brussels, and the forced crossing of the Rhine.[1]

Richardson was born on 9 August 1922 in Egypt to a military family. He was the eldest son of Major-General T W Richardson. He was educated at Wellington College.
