History
Toobit was established on October 16, 2022. During its initial phase, the exchange focused on launching spot trading and perpetual futures contracts. Third party reviews note that Toobit expanded its product offerings during 2023 and 2024 as part of efforts to compete within the crowded derivatives trading segment.[3]
In January 2026, Toobit announced a regional marketing partnership with La Liga, Spain’s professional football league, covering promotional activities in the Middle East and North Africa region.[4][5][6]
Products and services
Spot trading
Toobit offers spot trading for different cryptocurrencies and trading pairs. Users can place market and limit orders through the platform’s web based interface.[7]
Derivatives trading
The exchange provides cryptocurrency derivatives products, including perpetual futures contracts. These products allow traders to gain leveraged exposure to cryptocurrency price movements. As with similar platforms, derivatives trading on Toobit involves heightened risk and is subject to platform specific margin requirements.[7][8][9]
Copy trading
Toobit includes copy trading functionality that allows users to replicate the trades of other participants. Copy trading features are commonly offered by retail focused cryptocurrency platforms and are designed to simplify access to derivatives markets.[7]
Technology, security and compliance
According to a security assessment published by Hacken, the exchange employs a centralized trading architecture with asset custody systems. It stores a majority of customer assets in offline cold wallets secured through multi signature authorization mechanisms.[7][10] Toobit has secured ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its information security management systems.[11]
Toobit has also published proof of reserves disclosures through third party attestations.[10]
