Tova Dorfman

Tova Dorfman is an Israeli-American[1] communal leader who was the president of the World Zionist Organization from 2023 to 2025.[2] She is the first woman to hold this position.[3]

Born in Jaffa, Israel,[4] Dorfman grew up in Oak Park, Michigan,[5] and studied at the University of California.[6]

Career

After making Aliyah[7] in 1984,[8] Dorfman started working at Melitz - the Center for Jewish Zionist Education in Jerusalem. Following this, she directed the Israel and Overseas Dept of the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit.[9] Currently, Dorfman is the CEO of the Steinhardt Family Foundation in Israel.[10][11]
