The Town Councils (Scotland) Act 1900 (63 & 64 Vict. c. 49) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments related to the election and proceedings of town councils in Scotland.[1]

Repealed enactments

Section 3 of the act repealed 17 enactments, listed in the first schedule to the act.[2]

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed by section 237(1) of, and schedule 29 to, the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 (c. 65), which came into force on 16 May 1975.[3]
