The Town Planning Act 1925 (15 & 16 Geo. 5. c. 16) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to town planning in England and Wales.[1]

The Town Planning (Scotland) Act 1925 (15 & 16 Geo. 5. c. 17) made similar provisions for Scotland.

Repealed enactments

Section 21 of the act repealed 5 enactments, listed in the fourth schedule to the act.[2]

Subsequent developments

The whole act was repealed by section 54 of, and the fifth schedule to, the Town and Country Planning Act 1932 (22 & 23 Geo. 5. c. 48), which came into operation on 1 April 1933.[3]
