Tołkiny [tɔu̯ˈkinɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Korsze, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 km (6 mi) south-east of Korsze, 11 km (7 mi) west of Kętrzyn, and 60 km (37 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn. According to the findings of German genealogists, the Tolkien family probably comes from Tołkiny.[2][3][4]
