"Treasure of Love" is a song written by Joe Shapiro and Lou Stallman and performed by Clyde McPhatter .[1] It was featured on the 1956 album Clyde McPhatter & The Drifters.[2] "Treasure of Love" reached No. 1 on the U.S. R&B chart, No. 16 on the U.S. pop chart. [3] Overseas, the song went to No. 27 on the UK Singles Chart.[4]
