Tredinnick is a Cornish surname. It derives from one of the places called Tredinnick; Tredinnick is formed from the elements "tre-" (homestead) and either "dinek" (fortified), "eythinek" (overgrown with gorse) or "redenek" (overgrown with bracken).[1]
