Trevor Doornbusch (born 6 July 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Eerste Divisie club VVV-Venlo. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Curaçao national team.
Doornbusch is a product of the youth academies of Overbos, Ajax, RKSV RODA '23, and Heerenveen.[1] He began his senior career with Heerenveen in 2017, where he acted as their backup goalkeeper. On 5 April 2018, he signed his first professional contract with Heerenveen until 2020.[2] He transferred to Telstar in the summer of 2020, and had a controversial stint where he played some games, lost his starting spot, and eventually reclaimed the position.[3] On 3 August 2022, he transferred to Dordrecht where he was again the reserve goalkeeper.[4]
On 27 February 2025, Doornbusch signed a two-and-a-half-season contract with VVV-Venlo.[5]
