Tropea (Italian: [troˈpɛːa]; Calabrian: Trupìa; Latin: Tropaea; Ancient Greek: Τράπεια, romanized: Trápeia) is a resort town in the province of Vibo Valentia, in the Italian region of Calabria. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").^[3] It has 5,661 inhabitants.^[2]
