District in Bryansk Oblast, Russia From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Trubchevsky District (Russian: Трубче́вский райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,843.2 square kilometers (711.7 sq mi).^[2] Its administrative center is the town of Trubchevsk.^[1] Population: 33,491 (2021 census);^[8] 37,002 (2010 census);^[3] 41,690 (2002 Census);^[9] 45,000 (1989 Soviet census).^[10] The population of Trubchevsk accounts for 39.7% of the district's total population.^[8]
