Tukul (also spelled "Tekul") is a term used to refer to round homes in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan and other parts of eastern Africa.[1]

A tukul appeared in the flag of Ethiopia's former Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region, and since 2023 in the emblem of the Central Ethiopia Regional State as a widespread symbol of local culture.
