Synopsis

In the near future human emotion has been eradicated by a government-imposed daily vitamin but two young lovers skip their daily dose.[1]

Production

Turn Me On was produced by Toby Nalbandian and Gregory Schmidt of Truant Pictures, alongside Sean Bradley.[2] Bel Powley and Nick Robinson were cast in the lead roles in February 2022.[3] Principal photography was scheduled to begin in November 2022,[4] and had wrapped by mid-May 2023.[2]

Release

At the 2022 Cannes Film Festival it was reported that IFC Films had acquired North American distribution rights to the film.[5] However, in September 2024, it was announced that Vertical had taken over North American rights instead, planning to release it sometime in early 2025.[6] The film made it to the 'New Directors' lineup of the 72nd San Sebastián International Film Festival on September 24, 2024.[7]
