Turovec is a municipality and village in Tábor District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.
Turovec lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Tábor, 51 km (32 mi) north-east of České Budějovice, and 81 km (50 mi) south of Prague.
