Tuvalu at the 2026 Commonwealth Games

Tuvalu competed at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.[1][2][3] This marked the country's eighth participation at the games, after making its debut at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

The King's Baton relay stopped in Tuvalu in February 2026.[4] The Tuvalu team consisted of eight athletes (five men and three women) competing in three sports.[5][6][7]
Boxer Pasoni Taafaki was the country's flagbearer during the opening ceremony.[8] Meanwhile, weightlifter Malia Timo was the baton bearer during the opening ceremony.[8] Boxer Tarona Taafaki won Tuvalu's first ever Commonwealth Games medal, a bronze in the women's 75 kg event.[9][10]
