Club career
Fletcher, and his twin brother Jack, were part of the academy at Manchester City for nine years prior to agreeing to sign for Manchester United for a combined fee of £1.25 million in July 2023.[2][3] He signed his first professional contract with the club in April 2024 shortly after his 17th birthday.[4] Fletcher made his Premier League debut as a second half substitute in a 2-0 home win against Tottenham Hotspur on 7 February 2026.[5] With his brother Jack also making his debut for the club that season, it marked the first time that two twins and their father had all played in the English top flight.[6]
International career
Fletcher is eligible to play international for England and Scotland. He played for both at Under-16 level, representing Scotland as his father did, and England, as his brother Jack did.[7] In October 2023, he confirmed his decision to represent Scotland.[8] In 2025, he captained Scotland U18.[9] He was included in the Scotland U21 squad for the first time in March 2026.[10]
